Belgium - Oostende

1- There was a terribly strong wind that day, i could barely stand up straight on that wavebreaker while shooting! The clouds were flying by so fast that by the time I got to the +40° shots they moved too far, and as a result I couldnt stitch them nicely, even when I tried manually positioning them - the cloud shapes changed so much that stitching them in was simply not possible. I really liked the colors and shapes on this one, especially the way it feels like there are two cities on two opposite landmasses, and theres this huge stone structure separating them. The city on the left is Mariakerke, the one on the right Oostende.

2- Conditions were far milder for this one, taken one day after the previous. Bracketed 5 shots by 2EV. I really like the horizontal 'S' curve that the shore and promenade make, and the reflection of the sun in the hotel.

3- A pano shot closer to the railing didnt turn out nice because it had a piece of railing on the left and on the right but none in the middle, luckily I decided to shoot 2 panos in case of this very problem occuring, which it did, so lesson learned - in the future if I include something, make sure I get the whole thing.

They are quite interesting all three of them, very different from one to an other.
