as i understood Andrew the "fast" mode is just for moving the head by pressing the arrow-keys and NOT when PW is moving the head to a shooting position . . .

Because of the PW´s moves to the next shooting position usually is relative short compared to the moving with the arrow-keys the motors shouldn´t be forced not stronger by the moves to shooting positions than by manual moving by the keys . . right?

Yes - i read it before. The price seems a bit suspicious to me . . . Where did you buy it?
I thought about taking a small 12V motorcycle battery and clamb it to a tripod leg.
But i think a LiIo battery surely is the best.

My idea was to mount these units like this.
With magnetic or Velcro/"Klettband" parts.
Any better ideas ?
Are magnetic parts not good for Merlin and/or battery ?

And a much shorter cable.
When using a battery on one of the tripodlegs you will get a cable problem after 2-3 rounds

Am not shure - i didn´t measure it - just by the sound of the motors. They sound different and visually it seems to move faster.
Tommorrow i´ll check with identical presets and fresh batteries.

I did not figure out an alternative charger.

when I plugged the charger (with the crap) into the outlet it makes "peng" inside the charger ...
the charger does not output any voltage, diode is off
