Cannot connect Papywizard to my bluetooth-module on MacBook
Hi,
I received my new Merlin and user "claudevh" bluetooth module www.papymerlin.com.
I can move the head with the hand controller it works fine.
I use a MacBook to connect to the bluetooth-module an I configured an new connection, but there was a problem - the only way was to use the password "1234". My bluetooth-configuration displays a ready connection with adress: 00-12-6f-03-e7-73 with the attribute "RS-232"
Now I started Papywizard an wanted to configure the bluetooth-data. So I went to "configuration/hardware" choosed driver "bluetooth" an changed the adress to the upper one by hand not seperated by bar but by colon like 00:12:6f:03:e7:73. If I push the button "choose" there will be an error-window "no bluetooth found". If I got to "show details" there will be a message with following text:

IO Eroor: [Errno 2]: No such file or directory: 'Users/...my computers name.../.config/papywizard2/papywizard.css'
I cannot connect to hardware so there is an error message: Cannot load LightAquaBlue framework, not found at library/Frameworks/LightAquaBlue.framework
Please help my, I have no idea what to do.

What version of Papywizard are you using? You need to use the latest one:

sure, but if I choose "about" it shows version 2.0.0 ??????????????????
it is in german language
I tried to copy the dev-Adress out from my bluetooth-settings and wanted to paste it into the hardware settings of Papywizard like shown in this post http://www.autopano.net/forum/viewtopic … 82&p=6 (#127) but if I choose "serial" I do not have the line "serial port" to paste the directory

The serial entry widget accept both an integer (0 = first serial port, 1 = second serial port...) or a string (COM1, COM2, /dev/ttyS0, /dev/tty.PapyMerlin-DevB-1)...
There is a problem in the download section, and I'm not sure the 2.1.5 release is the latest one for MacOS... Try this one:

so, I see that is no possibility to choose something to connect. But PW connects something, but there ist no real movement on the head when I use the arrows. The bluetooth-module flashes at the same speed as it is in disconnection-mode.

now I tried to insert in the preferences everything I thought it could be. Nothing happened. I can write any bt-adress I want - nothing happens. I can write any serial adress I want - nothing happens. An if I klick on "choose" button - there is no reaction of PW any more an the fan starts to go up. Only a abnormal kill can make this noise an end.

so is there any other possibility to connect the Merlin with my MacBook? What about a cable with LAN-plug on the one and a smaller telephone plug on the other side? Has it be a special point-to-point wiring or can I use an ordinary one from the electronic market?
Or what about USB?
For testing and learing to use the pano head I do not need wireless control, so I can improve my workflow on my desk with cable

Paul, you made my day (better my evening...) :-)
the problem was, that i first had to use the item "bluetooth" an type the right adress, then change to "serial" and type the right path.
The first one I did not before.
So now it work with the latest version of PW!
