The Other Pike's Peak

This is a photograph of Pike's Peak in Oregon. The phoograph was taken in late spring almost at sunset as the wheat was approaching maturity. In 3-4 weeks the deep green would be becoming brown as the wheat was ripening. The airplane was a lucky accident--it was one of the last flights of that crop duster.

The photograph is 14 separate exposures stitched as two rows of seven images. The final image is 11520 pixels wide by 5280 pixels high.
