I've shot a 360x180 panorama. Shot with a Nikon D-300, 10.5 mm fisheye, 8 shots around at 0 degrees and the zenith at 60 degrees. No nadir as I'll drop in a tripod cap. I did set the images as fisheye in the settings.
Anyway I can't get APP to find any control points between image 1 and image 9 or between image 6 and image 9. I've tried everything I can think of. It detected the first 8 images fine and i added 9 later. I then opened the CP editor and selected image 1 and 9. I drew a box over common areas of both images and selected add control points. I didn't find anything.
All the images are uploaded (out of the camera JPG's) at http://www.rich.org/hrm1 in case anyone wants to look at them.
Any help is appreciated.
Great program by the way !!!
Thanks in advance,
Rich Drinkard

The trick that works best is, in the Control Points Editor, set detection to high - at the bottom of Settings.
And see http://www.autopano.net/wiki/action/vie … nts_Editor 'Add Control Points'

Thanks for the response...
I tried both suggestions already.
Even zooming in to the highest magnification and selecting two very similar areas it won't create CP's.

Try setting detection to low ![]()
Otherwise please see http://www.autopano.net/forum/t3118-cal … mages-pair

I didn't have any problem stitching with 1.4.2 using default settings (see screenshot below). Auto CP detection worked fine.
BTW you only need 6 shots around with your camera/lens setup - any more will probably increase stitching problems by causing generation of unnecessary and superfluous links between images.
It would have been better to have located your 'zenith' shot to include the tall building to facilitate stitching.
I use a D40 with the Nikkor 10.5mm FE and a Nodal Ninja 5 panohead. I shoot 6-around at about -10 degrees and one (or sometimes two) up at about +60. That leaves a small nadir hole about the size of the NN5 rotator. These images sets always stitch easily.

Interesting.... I'm using a Macintosh... Any chance that could cause an issue ?

When I initially loaded the images it was with several other pano folders and I then kicked off detection of all 11 folders.
I just tried again but only loading the one folder. It stitched perfectly...
