Berlin Dome and abandonned Hospital Corridor
Hello,
these are two of my first projects I finished using AutoPano Pro 2.0. I´ve been using another stitching software for a while which delivered very good results when doing
single-row panos but I never was satisfied with multi-row panos. So I tried AutoPano 64 Bit two weeks ago and bought it the same evening...
interactive version here: http://www.grages.net/panoramen/pano01.htm
The german text above the image explains how to use the panoramic viewer. The text under the image is a short explanation about the size of the image, pictures taken etc.

This is a panorama of an abandonned hospital, which was bulit in the early 1920ies as a lung sanatorium. After WWII it was the biggest russian military hospital outside the
USSR. Now it´s almost complete ruins.
Hope you like these panos.

Welcome to the forum.
Your panos are excellent - I particularly like the abandoned hospital pano.

Thank you. I will do some more panos of the hospital in future. I just have do ask the owner for permission to access the area again and hope he will open some of the closed and locked buildings for me.

Re: Berlin Dome and abandonned Hospital Corridor
As the others have all said, fantastic work PanoFrank and like the vibrancy and detail of the first image posted in your thread. HDR I'm assuming?
Your website is great as well and really like your portfolio of night shots from Berlin ![]()

Re: Berlin Dome and abandonned Hospital Corridor
Thanks to all!
UK Pano:
Yes, the two panos shown above are HDR Panos. In the dome, I tried to keep the tonemapping as subtle as possible to keep a "natural" look.
I think it´s time for some more panos.
First is the butchery/boucherie/charcouterie of the abandonned hospital which shows some of the old machines. This house even has an old steam engine
in the basement. Under the ceiling you can see tre transmission line (belts missing).
HDR Pano made of 225 images (3 rows x 15 photos x 5 exposures)
The interactive pano is here: http://www.grages.net/panoramen/pano10.htm
Pano number two is the staircase of one of the hospital buildings. This pano is made of 45 photos (single exposure - no HDR)
sorry for the over-exposure in the part with the windows. I had no time for HDR at this location.
The interactive pano is here: http://www.grages.net/panoramen/pano13.htm
You might also want to try these two:
another corridor: http://www.grages.net/panoramen/pano11.htm
a really wet cellar: http://www.grages.net/panoramen/pano12.htm
Enjoy!

Re: Berlin Dome and abandonned Hospital Corridor
Fantastic panos!
one thing though, I would suggest a slightly narrower FOV in the interactive tours to reduce distortion.

Spectacular!
Old buildings make such great subjects. It's fascinating watching the decay.

Re: Berlin Dome and abandonned Hospital Corridor
I like a lot the last one ! I must admit I am not too keen about HDR generally.
